THE EXILE STORY
Michael Adamo, the founder and lead technician at Exile Automotive, has been passionate about cars and performance since he was a teenager. Starting at just 17 years old, Michael began working on cars and quickly became certified by Subaru as a dealer technician. He spent five years at a Subaru dealership, where he gained valuable experience and honed his skills as a mechanic.
But Michael’s passion for high-performance vehicles didn’t stop at repair and maintenance. He spent extensive time learning how to tune engines through both experience and courses. He’s completed high-performance academy tuning courses, EFI University courses, and Cobb tuning courses, among others. This dedication to learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technology and techniques has made Michael a top-tier tuner in the industry.
In addition to his technical expertise, Michael also has a background in mechanical engineering from Colorado State University. He’s been doing side-gigs for over 10 years, and in 2018, with the support of his loving wife, Jazmin Adamo he decided to turn his passion into a full-time business by founding Exile Automotive.
